“S-BOX: SURVIVAL GAME” — AN ORIGINAL TITLE FROM OUR STUDIO HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY PUBLISHED NATIONWIDE

We are proud to announce that S-BOX: Survival Game — one of the most outstanding long-form comic projects developed by the in-house artist team at Light Comic Studio — has officially passed the rigorous publishing approval process and has been published nationwide since December 2024. This is a significant milestone not only for the creative team, but also a clear testament to the storytelling and creative capabilities of Light Comics.

OVERVIEW

The story was conceptualized by writer Vũ Đình Lân and illustrated by Vũ Hồng Hải. It is also the very first comic to debut in LightOn, the weekly comics magazine launched and published by our own studio. Thanks to the strong support from Vietnamese readers right from the beginning, the series was quickly well-received and officially signed for Vietnamese language publishing rights with Skybooks in 2024.

Currently, S-BOX: Survival Game is being widely distributed across online book-selling platforms and in many major book stores nationwide, especially through the Fahasa system. In just a short time after release, the series has achieved a large number of sales — reflecting its strong appeal and deep resonance among young readers.

STORY SUMMARY

Amid the spread of a mysterious pandemic called Fuge-07, 19-year-old college student Phan Anh Minh goes to the hospital for a virus test — only to unexpectedly wake up in a strange room with 49 others in the same situation. They are all forced to participate in a bizarre survival game controlled by a mysterious figure named Dr. Xero.

Each player is given a piece of equipment called an ICON — objects with special powers but limited usage, meant to support survival rather than combat. Minh receives a B-rank ICON called Gravity Shoes, which allow him to move on any solid surface — but only for 10 minutes a day.

As the challenges grow more difficult, and strange creatures begin to appear alongside the mysteries hidden within a ruined school, the players are forced to unite, explore the multifaceted abilities of their ICONs, and confront their fears to uncover the truth behind the game and search for a way home.

S-BOX: Survival Game is a clear testament to our independent storytelling capabilities — an original work that has captivated thousands of readers with its solid structure, intense pacing, and meticulously crafted fantasy world.

The wide publication of this comic is not only the result of serious creative effort, but also a statement that Light Comics is fully capable of creating original IPs powerful enough to conquer the market.
